Sister Jan Gier
Sister Jan is
the Director of the Ursuline Preschool and Kindergarten.
She
celebrated her Silver Jubilee on Saturday, October 23,
2004.
To learn more about Sister Jan, we went to the source of all
knowledge,
the Kindergarten students. They shared many thoughts and ideas
about Sister Jan.
The most interesting part of the interviews was that the
students spoke with
great certainty -- they have no doubt that her favorite
foods are chocolate ice cream,
banana splits, peanuts, popcorn, apple pie,
broccoli, carrots, and raw fish -
and her very favorite food is pumpkin
pie.

"She cuts the lawn, makes dinner, and takes a nap." "What does Sister Jan do in the evening?"
She cleans the classrooms and plays with the toys." "What does Sister Jan do when you go home for the day?"
"She talks to the sisters really nice, not really mean." "When we go home, Sister Jan spends alot of time getting ready for Halloween."
