Sister Charlotte Italiano
Holy Family Parish honors Sr. Charlotte for 28
years of service |

Holy Family Parish, Poland, Ohio, honored Sister Charlotte Italiano, OSU,
with a Testimonial Dinner on Thursday, May 26. Sr. Charlotte has
been the principal of Holy Family Grade School for 28 years.
In the 28 years she served at Holy Family, Sister Charlotte has been
the source of innovation. She established the first all day
kindergarten in the Youngstown area, an after-school program with
certified teachers to help children with homework, and a "School Within a
School Program" for the middle-school students. This program includes a
chapter of the National Beta Club.
This fall, Sister Charlotte begins a new ministry, as principal of
Immaculate Conception Grade School in Youngstown, Ohio.
