Tony Magliano, an internationally-syndicated columnist, recently visited the Mahoning Valley as a guest speaking of The First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown.
Magliano, at right with Sister Nancy Dawson, General Superior of the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown, stayed in a guest room at the Ursuline Center while in town. The Maryland native focuses his column on social justice and peace.
“I write all my columns on timely national and international issues,” he says. “I try to get readers to look at the important issues of the day from the perspective of the Gospel and Catholic social teaching.”
Magliano said he was grateful to stay with the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown, who “extended very wonderful hospitality to me.”
Magliano’s column is often featured locally in The Catholic Exponent. He is currently branching out into public speaking. To learn more about Magliano, including his contact information, click here.
